Northeast ADA Center - Beyond Extra Time for Exams; Accommodations at Colleges and Universities
01:00 PM - 02:00 PM Eastern
- Chris Sweet
- Joe Zesski
With school starting back up and students returning to campus, there are a lot of questions raised about how or when to accommodate different disability related needs. This webinar will explore technical assistance provided by the Northeast ADA to students and postsecondary schools about accommodating different needs beyond the more familiar forms of accommodation. We will examine food allergies, service and emotional support animals, online learning, and more. This session is an introductory exploration of thinking through how the ADA applies in the college or university setting.
If you require any reasonable accommodations in order to participate in the event, please notify the Northeast ADA Center by contacting Alexis Boytsov, Project Administrator, at least 72 hours prior to the event.
